Homemade Bread crumbs


Bread crumbs is one of the versatile ingredient which is used in many recipes. Though breadcrumbs are easily available in the market but loaded with preservatives, colouring etc. 

I have been preparing the breadcrumbs from few years now and they are so easy to prepare and very handy. You can use any bread for it white bread, brown bread and best is to use 2-3 days old bread. 

Whenever i have bread crust left with me i just save them to dry up or you can put in an oven to dry. If the bread is not dry you will not get the perfect crumbs. 

Just put the bread in the food processor or grinder, whirl it to get the required coarseness. Your homemade bread crumbs are ready. 

You can use to thicken gravy, for binding or for the crispy rolls etc.
